Title: Heavy period
Post by: Flan747 on May 26, 2021, 05:10:17 AM
I am currently on 3 pumps Estradiol and 100mg continuously and yesterday started a very heavy period something I haven’t had in a Avery long time? Does this mean anything ie too much/ too little estrogen ? My levels have just come back at 274 - I know they fluctuate but just as an idea. I’ve been on this regime for about 10 weeks now

I think is estrogen which thickens lining to cause a bleed, the more estrogen the thicker the lining and heavier bleed. Progesterone is supposed to counteract and oppose the estrogen to prevent uterine lining getting too thick. Somebody with more knowledge might be able to help better than I can.

Oh ok thank you! Would that be a good thing I have a heavy bleed or does that indicate too much estrogen? I get so confused by it all and the more I google the more I worry?
