Hi everyone
Like many of you I'm completely clueless to what my oestrogen levels are! I've been on 2 pumps oestrogel for 10 months and was like a new me at the start. Benefits seem to have tailed off over the last 3or so months, including mood, energy, sleep and joint aches. So I've upped to 3 pumps with no discernable difference after 3-4 weeks.
I'm on the wait list with Newson health and I'm also wondering about adding in testosterone.
While I wait to be seen I was thinking of ordering a home test kit to check oestrogen levels as a sort of guide to whether to increase gel or maybe swap to patches .... there's also a home testosterone test kit but as that's geared for men I'm not sure it would be sensitive to female levels , assuming on a different scale to male levels?
Anyone tried one of these tests?
Thanks for any thoughts ☺️
So many variables to navigate!
