I've had terrible insomnia for a long time. When I was previously on HRT, the mirena coil did nothing to alleviate it.
10 days ago I've returned to HRT and am finding 100mg daily Utroegestan is fantastic for getting me through the night. BUT, I'm starting to wonder if it's causing me to feel more tired/drowsy in the day.
I did try to use it vaginally and actually, it made me feel really hot and weird. Did anyone else have that?
And any thoughts on daytime tiredness?

How are you taking it?
If I took it by mouth I was a very strange combination of an extremely tired body, I felt like I was wearing a suit of lead, but my brain was very wired, too wired to sleep even though I was physically exhausted.
I couldn’t tolerate using it vaginally either as it caused a lot of skin and urethra irritation.
