Title: Usually bleed before end of Utro course, so...
Post by: wherearemyslippers on May 17, 2021, 02:53:41 PM
Hi ladies, I always tend to start my bleed two or three days before I finish my 14 days of (200mg orally) Utrogestan each month, which I understand is common. Has anyone out there made the decision to just stop the Utro course at the point the bleed begins? I don't get why carry on, you'd save on pills for one ... Should I listen to my body on this one? What do you guys do? I'm 54, on 2 pumps Estrogel.

The normal dose is 200mg x 12 days not 14 days. If I bleed before the end I stop taking them and start counting again with day 1 as the first day of the bleed. If you still cycle yourself the hrt cycle may have got out of sync with it.

Thanks Sheila, I think I'll try that.
