Sorry it's me again. Has anyone used the Balance Active Pessary Plus with success? Would they help the external area as that is where most of my burning is. I wondered whether to use one on the nights I don't use Vagifem. I am using Vagifem three times a week. On the nights I don't use Vagifem I use my Estriol mixed with a little yes OB externally.I also take oral HRT daily. My recent flare would appear to be taking hold which I don't want. This afternoon has been particulary bad. Can't understand why after three good months it is rearing it's ugly head again. Hope this flare is short lived. Haven't done anything different with treatment. Replies appreciated.

?? U mayB aren't using the 'vagifem' often enough ?? Every night could necessary for months, some ladies find they require thus as well as 'ovestin' for the outer labia. 3 probably isn't enough because it is a small amount of active ingredient.
U can use 'vagifem' internally as well as what works on the external areas.
I use KY Jelly or Savlon on the labia if it's itchy in that area. Plus 'ovestin' internally a few times a week. If I feel the need2P I take 2 'nurofen' 3 times a day until the symptoms ease. It's the Trial and Error that is so tiring!

Thanks for responding. Think I will use the vagifem more often and not use the Balance Active pessaries. Don't want to introduce yet another item. I am finding the Epaderm cream soothing, but did try the ointment which made me burn. Like you say, it is the trial and error that is very tiring. I never expected it to be flaring so soon after my last episode. In need of a nice looking fireman right now, to put my fire out. Thank you for responding.

I think that keeping to something we are already using, which has helped mostly, is the way to go initially. Too many products might upset the balance and make symptoms worse, also you won't know which is working/not. Up the 'vagifem' for 3 weeks and keep the outer labia creamed with what suits. Let us know?

If I fire up the charabanc we could meet at a beach with all our products for a swapsies? then ice cream or candy floss on the Prom.? I went through my cabinet this morning, found 'declolax' ? from 2009 - never opened ::). Took on holiday 'in case' I seem to remember.

Yes could hire a charabanc good idea. Need a cool beach and a suitcase to carry all my lotions and potions. Would have loads of swapsies. Wonder who's suitcase would be the biggest. ;)
