Title: Vaginal utrogestan and VA treatment
Post by: Jasmine20 on April 25, 2021, 06:45:23 PM
I'm back trying vaginal Utrogestan but my vaginal atrophy has flared and I think it's partly because of me not using any vaginal HRT during my progesterone phase (I'm peri and on a sequi regime).

What do you do to get around this problem, particularly as gravity usually necessitates VA creams or suppositories are taken at night so they don't leak out? Can you combine the two or would this impact the absorption?

I'm doing a reload of Imvaggis with a bit of Ovestin and feeling a bit better but I don't want a repeat of this every month!

Use in the morning?  Or in the evening but leave a couple/3 hours between each?

I was reading on this forum somewhere, earlier on today, that vaginal Utrogestan is absorbed after 15 minutes, so how about insrting your local oestrogen 15 minutes after the Utro?

Thanks for your responses!

I had no idea the Utrogestan was absorbed that fast! It never ceases to amaze me what I learn on this forum.

I will insert the Utrogestan and then wait a while before I use the vaginal HRT.

Cheers!
