Title: Not sure I'm on the right hrt
Post by: Liz72 on April 12, 2021, 07:02:11 PM
Hi all, after reading through some of the posts on this forum I'm unsure if I'm actually on the right hrt. I've been on evorel conti for about 3 years apart from when it was hard to get and was put on a tablet and patch for a small period of time. I'm currently trying to get vagifem. When the doctor has asked if it's ok I've said yes as I thought this was as good as it got. The hrt takes away the flushes and the "rage" but I still suffer with
Fatigue
Heart palpitations
Non existent labido
Dry skin
Tiredness
Find hard to remember the words for things.
Tinnitus
Vaginal dryness
So should I be looking for a different one or is this as good as it gets? Sorry for the long post.

Hi it sounds like you need more oestrogen. You could try oestrogen in the form of a gel or patch with Utrogestan for the progesterone. X

Thank you for replying. I have a doc telephone consultation booked for 29/4 so I'll be sure to ask again about oestrogen. I did mention it last week and was sent for a blood test to rule out high cholesterol and diabetes as I have some real dry patches of skin appear. Hopefully I'll get somewhere this time x
