Title: Increased anxiety
Post by: Juliem60 on March 29, 2021, 10:29:43 PM
I've been using Estrogel pump pack (2 pumps nightly) along with Utrogestan 100mg for 7 weeks now. At first I felt better than I had done on my previous hrt (kilofem). However, the past 2 weeks I have suffered increased physical anxiety. My doctor has advised I go back to kilofem, but also mentioned that two pumps may not be enough for me. I'm tempted to try extra pumps for a bit, but wondered if anyone has any advice? Thank you.

My anxiety was from oestrogen deficiency so your doctor may well be right that you need more. If you think the utrogeston may the problem you could use it on a cycle for a few months which will show you if that is the course (200mg x 12 days).

Am interested to know how you know oestrogen deficiency was the reason for your anxiety, sheila99? I'm joining some very interesting dots for myself, so am curious to know these definitive points. Thanks!
