Title: Daily walk - spacey light headed anyone else?
Post by: mumandwife on March 25, 2021, 06:55:57 AM
Hi
I try to take a 30 minute walk around the block each night after dinner.

I nearly always feel slightly spacey headed/light headed at some point in the walk.  It's really annoying and I can't figure out why.
I've eated, I've had plenty of water during the day.

I am on a 75 patch and Utrogestan x1 which I take orally each night before bed.  I think it makes me a bit dozey but by the time I'm off for my walk it must be around 10hrs since I took it, so I doubt it's that.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Fresh air has that effect on me.  After weeding in the garden, when I sit for a cuppa I feel spaced out.  Not unpleasant.

Hi, I have recently started feeling same way when out for a walk. Feel fine initially then start to feel light headed and strange!! Often have hot flushes too which compounds the issue.

Is this a common menopause symptom. I'm not in HRT.

Yes, this happens to me too. After about 15- 20 minutes I feel lightheaded and it feels like I can't focus properly anymore. It started when I went from birth control pill to HRT. When I'm walking with someone else I don't feel it. Maybe because I'm distracted? I don't  know.
