Title: 200 mg progesterone every other day
Post by: Casey65 on March 24, 2021, 12:03:22 PM
Hello again!

I'm kindly asking your opinion on this continuous MHT:
- 1.53 mg transdermal estradiol daily
- 200 mg vaginal progesterone every other day

At the moment I do not have access to 100 mg Utrogestan, my only option is 200 mg progesterone. I am post menopausal and I want a continuous, no bleed, regime.

Do you think it would be effective regarding endometrial protection?

Thank you in advance!

I don't know the answer but have you thought of using a long cycle (6-8weeks) until you can get 100mg utro?

@sheila99, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have thought of using prog on a cycle but I am not very excited about having a bleed again, after three years of period free.
My previous regime was continuous, with Angeliq - not available anymore - and I want to switch to a similar one, but transdermal estradiol spray.
