Title: Change from tablet to patch reactions and frustration
Post by: tammiegurl on March 13, 2021, 12:24:18 AM
Wow instant reaction!!! :o

I was taking Femoston 1/10 everything was fabulous I went from literally a wreck to a human again!!  Hit 3month mark and started to.itch like insanely!! Doctor suggested patch so after consideration I tried the patch got a headache and chest discomfort was back stopped patch went back on pills itch still happening  frustrated angry hating the world and my body decided ok ill give the patch one more try!!! Well I patched last night!!! Had the worst sleep! Hot all night got up this morning felt so unwell!! Had my morning cuppa and got up off the couch and hello vertigo is back and I feel tightness in my neck( haven't had it since Femoston)
Also legs cramping again!! Slightly warm where patch is so I decide ok trial 2 is over!!! And remove patch. 3hrs later I feel ok!

I hate this so much why can't it just be simple!! Im so frustrated with my body right now!! I was so.happy on the tablets and now I have to weigh up do I put up with the itch and stay on tablets, do I try more and more HRT, do I go buy black kohosh and StJohns Wart and skip HRT....I'm just so over it!!! :'(

Is the patch the same dosage as the tablet?

I would try a different patch or gel. Some people hit the jackpot first time, others have to try several. I know it's frustrating but perhaps a bit soon to give up, you still have other options.

I'm not sure on that.

I've gone back on the tablets and have found a mix of Aloe Vera gel and coconut oil is helping the itch majorily. I see my doctor on the 30th so will discuss it all with her then.
