Hi everyone,
First time here so I hope I’m not asking a stupid question.
I’ve just been given my first prescription for Sandrena gel and utrogestan tablets.
My GP thinks I might not get the scheduled bleed on this sequential HRT (14 days on 14 days off) as the progesterone in my Depo injection already suppresses all bleeding (no periods for twenty years!)
I just wondered if anyone else has experience of being on Depo and sequential HRT, and how / if that affected your bleeding?
Thanks in advance.
I hope you’re all having an ok day. X

Morning. No question is stupid or silly here, we talk about everything. Even menopause sometimes ;)
:welcomemm: to me Depo = Depomedrone to inject into joints to relieve inflammation. Is 'Depo' in your case hormonally linked? :-\
Browse round. Make notes!

Hi, thanks for the welcome.
Depo is also short for Depo Provera, the progesterone only contraceptive injection 🙂
I’m having a good root around, now!

The search box is a useful tool, put the names of the product - individually - into it and see what pops up.

Hi there,
Yes, I did that and nothing relevant came up.
Thanks.

That's a shame. Hopefully some1 with more knowledge than myself will drop by!
