Hi all,
Can anyone advise please?
5 years into perimenopause and period are long, short, heavy, very heavy but generally when they stop they stop. This month I finished my period but have had spotting during the days after. So my heavy period finished, next day light brown when wiped, next day nothing, next day light pink when wiped. The light pink is a bit like when I ovulate in consistency. I have no female relatives to ask so wondered if that is normal for perimenopause?
Thanks all.

Anyone please?

This sounds normal for perimenopause. It's to do with fluctuating hormones. The type of spotting/bleeding which should never be ignored though is if it happens after sex. Hope this puts your mind at rest.

Hi. I am the same as you too my doc said its normal for perimenopause too and said if it becomes an issue to contact him again to see what action we can take

It was normal for me though the show was brown. I would have excruciatingly heavy, painful periods for up to 8-10 days, which would cease for 48 hours followed by a brown stain . Every month so it was 'normal' for me. As well as intense itching high up :o
How do U feel otherwise Mummytron?
