Hi ladies, my GP started me on Evrol Conti 50 recently. I’ve been on it for over 1.5 weeks I have all the classic menopause symptoms. Irritated, joint pain, exhaustion, hot flushes, trouble sleeping and re current UTIs. I was hoping by now to see some improvements but I can’t say I feel any better. I was wondering how long does HRT take to work? I’ve seen posts on this site saying a week, or days. Is it me or did other people find no improvement after almost 2 weeks? Thanks in advance

I’ve been on hrt since September last year & trying my third type/dose so far no big improvements it’s really disappointing, but like you have a lot of symptoms, I’m 46 & in peri so my hormones are still very erratic! I wonder if the ladies who find improvement within days are the very lucky ones or their symptoms aren’t that bad :-\ it’s still early days for you though but I really hope you find relief soon x

Different symptoms take different lengths of time. Flushes usually go in a couple of weeks, my anxiety and insomnia took 3 months. Is there a reason you're on conti? You usually have sequi in peri.

Hi. I'm 38 and on hrt (mirena coil and esfrodot 100). I still see no improvements and I have been on it since December. I persevering for another month or so and if no improvement , I will change to something different. That's if I can get something different.
I hope things improve for you. I have been so jealous of the women who have found the magic formula. I wish I could find mine. Tired of headaches, flushes, low mood, light headedness, weight gain, crunchy joints.....etc etc
