I now use utrogestan vaginally and also vagifem. each is used on alternate nights with Sylk moisturiser to insert. The utrogestan has not affected the atrophy in any way.  So I would say go ahead.

I do use only 100mg alternate nights as advised by the Newson clinic. I am on a continuous regime as post menopause.
I also use yes vaginal moisturiser each morning.

We are all different so anything is worth a try, i react to Sylk and Yes products  which lots seems to rave about but have no issues with the Vagifem fillers that some have problems with.
