Hoping someone can help i have VA and use vagifen twice a week and ovestin one a week as prescribed by my doctor as he feels that the combination of the two are better which has helped me so much i use 2 pumps of estrogel but i am struggling with taking Utrogestan i feel as if i have a hangover when i wake up i see on here that some use it vaginally my question is how has this effected their VA

I now use utrogestan vaginally and also vagifem. each is used on alternate nights with Sylk moisturiser to insert. The utrogestan has not affected the atrophy in any way. So I would say go ahead.

Elizabethlovejoy thanks will start tonight was just a bit nervous

Utrogestan made me sore when i used it vaginally.

I do use only 100mg alternate nights as advised by the Newson clinic. I am on a continuous regime as post menopause.
I also use yes vaginal moisturiser each morning.

We are all different so anything is worth a try, i react to Sylk and Yes products which lots seems to rave about but have no issues with the Vagifem fillers that some have problems with.
