I was just speaking to a osteoporosis nurse about HRT. She mentioned a new trial last year that showed increased breast cancer. Anyone have any information on this??

Ring her and ask for the Abstracts and Papers? Not that many of us can understand them ::). Was it published in a Journal? No good 'mentioning' without backing up her source.

Was it this one perhaps? https://www.bmj.com/company/newsroom/study-provides-new-estimates-of-breast-cancer-risks-associated-with-hrt/

These studies are meaningless unless they tell you if oral or transdermal hrt is used. Many of these studies, particularly the ones that combine other studies, are based on oral hrt which we know carries a higher risk than transdermal. The older ones made from horse urine are worse. Transdermal is relatively recent and it's hard to find research looking purely at the effects of this type of hrt.
