I have recently upped Oestrogel to 3 pumps (about 8 days). I have always experienced nausea since beginning of my meno journey (10 months ago) but the past 3 days it has been persistent! It would usually settle mid morning. Could too much estrogen be the cause or is my body readjusting to 3 pumps and things will settle (I have only been on Oestrogel for 6 weeks along with the Mirena). Anyone experience this?

Hi sed
Yes it could be the increase in oestrogen causing the nausea - like morning sickness in pregnancy if you've experienced this. If it is the cause then as you say, your body will hopefully readjust to the new dose. It has never happened to me but then I've never taken a high dose of oestrogen when on HRT. Hope you feel better soon :)
