Title: Phytoestrogens??
Post by: menopausalalways on January 30, 2021, 01:18:44 PM
I am considering taking a supplement such as CleanMarine Menomin or Femarelle?
I have read that Femarelle contains Phytoestrogens and could cause a bleed which would freak me out.
Does anyone know if Meno :'(min contains them as well?
Sorry to ask :O(

Hi menopausalalways,

I just saw your post.  I don't come here as regularly as I used to do so sometimes I miss stuff.  Anyway - I have never tried CleanMarine or Menomin.  But I do take Femarelle and wrote about it under "Alternative Therapies" under the topic "Phytosoya and Other Naturals".  I wrote quite a detailed post so won't repeat it here but I have been taking it for just under 5 months and it works for me.  I haven't had any bleed on it.  But having said that, I am now 54y, having started my menopause aged 47y so I imagine that it would be unusual for me to start getting periods now (I had my last ever period in September 2019).

Hope that helps!
