Title: HRT Newbie - question about timing
Post by: Hilly on January 29, 2021, 10:01:22 AM
Hello,
This is my first post and I feel like it may be a silly question
I'm 42 and have been diagnosed with early menopause. I haven't had a period since last June. I had two blood tests in the Autumn which showed really high FSH (over 100) and low Estradiol and high LH.
Dr prescribed Evorel 25 patches and also Utrogestan 200mg for 12 days each month.
My question is do I take the Evorel patches continuously throughout the month even when I'm taking the Utrogestan and also how do I know at what point to start taking the Utrogestan? Do I just use the patches for the first 12 days and then add in the Utrogestan?

Ohhh that's technical  ::) as I don't take HRT other than for vaginal atrophy.

:welcomemm:  nowt is silly, stupid or taboo on here.  MayB put the product names into the search box on the Forum - white letters on blue background above - make notes.  Someone will be along I'm sure.

In the mean time, browse round.

Some ladies find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary useful too .
