Hi, anyone else suffer from very dry tongue and sour taste in mouth?
Had dental check up, nothing obvious, she said salivary flow good although doesn't feel like that.
Had bloods taken by GP, again nothing obvious. Checked for Sjorgens, all fine.
Still have problem, my tongue is so dry and makes things taste funny. Not a thirst and drinking doesn't help it.
Is it just another menopausal problem?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jacmar! I've had exactly the same problem... I'm just trying out HRT. Sometimes it leaves me with no appetite whatsoever and I drink like a fish 😮 I'm not diabetic though xxx strange

Absolutely everything dries up with low oestrogen levels! So I would say yes, it is another menopausal problem.

Ahh! Joaniepat, I had heard that this could be a symptom of peri..... I also have dry sinuses but the only part that isnt dry yet is my 'down below bits' (sorry, tmi) xxxx

Ok, thanks, thought it was just another problem as everything seems to be ok otherwise. Hopefully it will pass. :)

Hi,
I get the same but only at night. It's very annoying because it wakes me up and I have to drink some water.

Had unbelievable dry eyes, nose and mouth these past months. It's costing me £26 a month in eye drops! Going to double up my oestrogen and see what happens after reading this thread. Sorry you're suffering.
