Title: A weird paralysis numb feeling in legs and sometimes hips.
Post by: loonarider on January 02, 2021, 11:22:59 AM
Hi,

It's usually random, but is quite scary when it happens. Sometimes I get this weird paralytic, numb heavy feeling in hips and legs and sometimes hands.

Last night, it was hard to move one of my legs and my thumb on my right hand couldn't move. Only lasted about a minute but so strange.

Any ideas?

I get numbness at night in my lower legs and sometimes my arm, but mine is caused by degenerative discs in my lower back and neck. I have a telephone appt on 9th with my consultant to investigate further, should imagine I will be sent for a mri scan.
Anything like this should be looked at, so please contact your doc ASAP.

Thank you!

Will definitely try and get seen, though pretty difficult right now with the pandemic and all.
