If you're peri it would be better to use a sequi regime (200mg x 12 days). If you're meno perhaps see your gp to get it investigated. If you want to be bleed free in peri a mirena may be a better option. I don't know if 200mg daily will do you any harm.

I believe Newson Clinic recommend 200mg daily if bleeding is an issue. Not tried it myself, I am taking 100mg vaginally and if it doesn't sort it will go to the sequi regime as recommended by sheila99. I personally don't fancy doubling the dose.
