Title: HRT quick check in!
Post by: mic67 on December 16, 2020, 08:24:02 PM
Hi everyone, just joined the forum.   :)

Ive just started HRT 10 days ago having had one bleed in the last year. (6 months ago). I'm 53.

I've some other health issues so was put on another medication at the same time. I started getting really painful trapped wind so stopped the other med. It has continued and I think it could be the Utrogestan.

Having read a number of posts on here prior to speaking to my GP today (thank you!), I've got him to agree to let me use the Utrogestan vaginally in the hope of stopping the bloat! I have a lot of digestive issues anyway so the less that goes down the hatch the better!

So my question is, do I still carry on with 100 internally for 25 days. (seems a lot of days to me for someone who has only had one period in a year?)

Also what are the 'long cycles' I hear you refer to on here?

Has anyone else tolerated the Utrogestan better after switching to this method?

Thank you so much for reading. Mic x

Morning.   :welcomemm:

I don't use HRT other than 'ovestin' so mayB put the product name into the search box on the forum to see what pops up?  Make notes ;-)
