Hi I am 55 and not had a period for 5 years I have been on Evoril conti patches For 3 years I have a prolapse and have a ring pressery to hold it all up and I have been getting uti’s a lot lately So my doctor has given me estriol 0.01 cream to use as well It said on the pharmacy bit on box to use everyday but I have just used it twice a week for a week but after reading on the forum you need to use it everyday for 2 weeks they only gave me 1 tube and do you think you can use the patches and the cream? Helpppppp

You should do a 14 day loading dose with the Estriol Cream, and then you can reduce it to twice a week (or more often if needed). Local oestrogen is a minute dose, so fine to use with your patches.

Yes, many women are on hrt and need topical oestrogen too. I don't have a prolapse but testosterone has improved my pelvic floor muscles. Might be worth asking if it would help?
