Title: Physical symptoms of anxiety: layperson's guide
Post by: Wrensong on December 11, 2020, 10:09:12 AM
Stumbled across this on my way to email this morning.  Not a scientific paper but easy to read & I hope reassuring, about something that plagues many of us at this time of our lives.

Morning.  'stumbled' - does that cover anything in particular ;-) should we whisper

The 1st thing to 'go' is my gut, below my belly button.  Feel dreadfully sick.  Then my thighs go weak followed instantly by my calf muscles.

No whispering necessary  ;D - it was a prominent article on the news feed on my way to email so I clicked on it & thought it worth posting, though I expect many have already seen it too.  I liked the clear, explanatory style

I agree.  Symptoms need to be explained and accepted, though knowing how my fight/flight response works, never stops the anxiety surges.   :'(
