Title: Why is anxiety back?
Post by: NicolaJ on December 09, 2020, 07:49:44 AM
I am now four months into my Femeston 1/10 sequential and all of a sudden this month my anxiety has returned. It has been like this all month. I’ve been great since the middle of the first packet so I’m feeling very frustrated. Is this normal and will it settle again or do I need to increase to 2/10.

I tend to suffer from anxiety and certainly it hasn't been good recently.
I have literally today gone on to a different HRT formulation- Tibolone, because my estrogen turned out to be too high.
I had assumed I needed to increase my dose, so just a caution maybe.
So now I'm wondering if my anxiety for more than a year on my Femoston conti might have been better if I wasn't on it. Time will tell.
Anyway hang in there. Anxiety sucks!  :-\

I am also interested in feedback - after 4 years on HRT, very successfully, the anxiety and feeling low has returned.

It's normal to need more oestrogen as your ovaries pack up.

Thanks everyone. I’m going to do an E-consult with the GP and request an increase. If it’s too much I can come down again. Will let you know x
