One of the reasons why postage is going to rise is the lack of snail mail  :'(

And reason no one uses it is because it costs so much! Takes a lot of letters to plug the hole in the pension pot.

However: 1 couldn't deliver post across the UK for what ever it costs ;-).  Van: upkeep, MOT, fuel; driver's time, uniform; hours, I wouldn't get up early for that.

We only send a few cards at Christmas.  Apart from that not a lot gets posted.
