My doctor prescribed me vagifem tablets to be inserted twice weekly (After the initial 1 a day for the first couple of weeks) I have been using these for a few months now but I was a little concerned if I should be using them without progesterone as I still have my uterus. Does any one else use them without progesterone?

You do not need progesterone with Vagifem.

Vagifem is only local oestrogen for symptoms of VA and is not absorbed systematically, so progesterone is not needed.

Thank you for your replies. I had suddenly panicked wondering if I was putting my uterus at risk :)

Morning. Do read the threads on bladder issues and vaginal atrophy. Is 'vagifem' helping?

Thank you.
