Title: Side effects of antihistamines
Post by: Pumpkin55 on November 17, 2020, 07:31:57 PM
Hello again everyone, just wondering if anyone has had nausea when first taking fenofexadine and if it stops when you get used to it and if you have any tips on alleviating it? Ie by when you take it? Also did it make you wake up during the night? Thank you!

Reading the side effects online nausea is common. Have you been told not to drink apple, orange and grapefruit juice while on it? It should state this in the patient information leaflet.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for responding Taz :-) yes I'm not drinking those. I guess if nausea is common I'm fine to continue taking, and its other effects are good, so that's what I'll do and hopefully it'll settle. It's not a debilitating level of nausea :-) x

I've never had nausea with it, despite nausea being one of my peri symptoms!!!

I sometimes get prescribed a kids dose, as that works just as well for me. So perhaps dose too high?
