I am 3 years post-menopause, after never having used HRT previously, I have just begun to take 1x100mg Ustrogestan with 1 pump of Estrogel every evening. However, after just a few days I started to suffer with a lower abdominal ache/discomfort, which gradually got worse, to the point where gently pressing on my lower abdomen/womb area felt very tender. I have therefore stopped using both medications to help eleviate the discomfort, and does seem to be very gradually subsiding.
Can anyone relate to these symtoms or offer any advice please?

Hi, I've been on similar regime as you for last 12 months but with 2 pumps of gel - and found my constant stomach issues lessened when I had a break from it for a couple of months. It is still very gurgly and hoping it will settle soon. I'm 10 years post meno.
I swear its the Utrogestan giving me wind and discomfort! I am still off HRT for now, waiting to try FemSeven when they come out again so can go completely transdermal.
It is all so very much trial and error and a very long process trying to find the right regime! I want to be on it for the general protection it offers, but not to the point where other symptoms are becoming a nuisance?
See if it settles while you have stopped? Good luck.
