Title: Hrt and hot flushes
Post by: Janeydrew on November 13, 2020, 06:04:01 AM
Hi I'm on estrogen 2 pumps every morning and take 2 progesterone tablets for 12 days every 6 to 8 weeks to have a bleed. All was fine but the last week or so I'm getting flushes back especially through the night and don't understand how to correct this should I close the time gap on progesterone to 4 weeks or up my pumps any help would be appreciated x

You need more oestrogen. As your ovaries pack up you're producing less yourself so it isn't unusual to need more.

You can do it either way. I do it twice a day but just because it's too cold for bare shoulders while it dries and this way I can stick to thighs. Some people increase by half a pump at a time, others use a whole pump.
