Title: Finally seen gynaecologist after abnormal bleeds
Post by: Dandelion on November 09, 2020, 05:37:01 PM
Hello

I posted on here a few times about abnormal bleeding.

It's stopped for now but gynaecologist today said my womb lining was thin so that is good.

Lots of love

Glad you’ve had good news 🙂🙂
I asked her a few questions, like why am I still getting bleeding spells at 54.
She said the average age for meno is 51.
She said my own hormones may be kicking in.
I did mention that diazepam causes abnormal bleeding, she didn't know about that.
She did say something good, that she was happy to keep scanning me if I get bleeds, and to see GP if they start up again, I just hope GP agrees to a scan because one GP wouldn't.
I will be sure to mention that the gynaecologist said she was happy to re-scan me should the bleeds start again, and if I get any resistance to scans, maybe I could email the Good Dr Currie.
