Title: Dr Currie
Post by: Katew on October 29, 2020, 12:39:56 PM
Hello
I emailed Dr Currie last Friday with a question and still haven’t had a reply. Can anyone advise me as to how long I should wait for a reply?
Many thanks

Sorry can't help.  Is it something that we can help with.

Thank you for your reply.
I have had very heavy bleeding and pain for 11 days this month after my periods had all but stopped or so I thought. I have been on Estradot 100 patches plus Estrogen for 3 years and was fantastic at first but symptoms have recently returned...awful mood swings...
I must admit that I don’t  take the Utrogestan every month as side effects are so unpleasant (like very bad PMS)...any advice very welcome as feeling desperate?

I may have suggested putting the names of the products into the search box to see what pops up: make notes ;-).  Have a read of the leaflet in the box too.  Some ladies find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary useful.

When I emailed Dr Currie, for some reason her reply did not come through. Worth chasing, as this may have happened to you.

Oh thanks for that. I have just resent my message.

I’m also curious to know what members have found the benefits of Utrogestan gel versus the tablets? I have awful side effects with the tablets and wonder if the gel might be better?
