Title: Bleeding when changing to utrogestan vaginally
Post by: Traceyjd on September 29, 2020, 10:05:55 PM
Hi All

Please can I ask.  I have been taking utrogestan orally for some time but getting a few migraines so I swopped to vaginally about 3 weeks ago, taking 100mg every other day.  Today I’ve had a very light bleed, can that happen with using Utrogestan vaginally sometimes?

Thank you

Hi Tracey

Yes, this happened to me, as well as quite severe cramping. I'm the end o decided to go back to the oral route. Mostly because of the cramping

Thanks so much for your reply Jeepers, I’ve been thinking this is what I will do.  Just after quite sometime, seeing blood, scared me a little, I seem to be one where I can’t get HRT to suit me.   I get one thing working, then another issue arises 🤷‍♀️😡
