Title: Oestrogen / testosterone ratio
Post by: Jaylow on September 24, 2020, 10:03:41 PM
If your oestrogen levels are low, will testosterone not have any effect?

Also

How do you know if your oestrogen levels are high enough (besides testing). For me hrt stops hot flushes but doesn’t help much with other symptoms. It’s hard to know whether to up the dose or not, I’m not sure how much of an improvement I’m meant to feel with hrt, like should I be grateful for improvement of flushes or should I be aiming to feel how I felt before peri, or somewhere inbetween?

Do you plan on increasing your dose? I’m not sure what to do, feeling disillusioned by it all right now. I’ve spent the last 2/3 years fighting to get back to feeling ‘normal’ (pre peri) and now I’m wondering if that’s even possible. Maybe this is it now and it’s as good as it gets to be rid of the flushes. Sorry to sound pessimistic, can’t believe how much my life has changed since peri started.
