Title: Lower abdominal pain
Post by: KarineT on August 31, 2020, 07:37:24 PM
Hi Everyone,

Since Friday evening I've been getting lower abdominal pain on and off and I'm not sure if it's my guts or ovaries causing this.  Has anyone of you had this?

Thanks

Karine

Hi KarineT,
Yes I have had very similar on more than one occasion it was UTI. I maybe wrong but I think VA can also cause symptoms similar to a UTI.
I had to contact GP a few weeks back with something similar. I filled in online questionnaire, a GP reviewed it and messaged back next day to say he would go with UTI and prescribed antibiotics. Not the same as having lab test, but in view of the current situation it seemed to do the trick.
I would contact your GP, if it is a UTI you won’t want to leave it to long.
Hope this helps and you feel better soon

Hi KarindT,

If the pain is very low and either side of your pubic hair, I feel it’s your ovaries. I got a lot off ovary problems. The pain can be constant or sharp and quick, it can come and go.

I get cyst growing on my ovaries plus I’ve got endometriosis and had three operations.

I do get gut problems as well but find the pain sit a bit higher and is felt all the way across.

Hope this helps, and please see your doctor and get their opinion
