Hello Everyone, I'm Ollie and I'm perimenopausal not an alcoholic ;) ;D
Currently signed off from work by the GP as I had a mental health crisis a couple of weeks ago. Lovely GP acknowledged perimenopause and prescribed antidepressants 18 months ago but here I am :o
Had a consultation at John Studd clinic this week and waiting for my HRT to arrive.
Looking forward to picking your brains, if you'll let me and chatting :)
Peace & love x

:welcomemm:
Mental health can be up and down during peri-menopause. Did you self refer to Prof Studd or via your Surgery? have the ADs helped at all? Some ladies need both.
Do read round. Make notes ;)

Welcome, Ollie Wombles. Hope your HRT regime goes well. It can take a while to settle down for some, but I hope you soon see some improvement.

Hi Ollie Wombles
Just wanted to welcome you, and hope everything goes well for you.
Join the 'this n that' thread, it's hilarious sometimes. 😉

Thanks everyone
I self referred after discussion with my lovely GP. She offered the combined pill or maybe a minerva coil along with the antidepressants with a possible referral to a gynaecologist. I didn't want to grind through the NHS while covid is still muddying the waters.
