Title: What’s a good starter seq HRT? Femoston 1/10?
Post by: Klt on July 23, 2020, 05:03:17 PM
I’ve spent the last few hours on here reading and making notes for local estrogen and for HRT , from the home page info Femoston 1/10 is one of the low dose seq HRT and from typing it in search I’m getting the impression that it’s quite favoured on the forum but I wanted to check if that’s still the case as some of the search results go way back and it could have been superseded

I don’t have much experience like many of the ladies on here so can only comment on femoston. I started taking it last year , I’m peri and was having a horrible time. I took the lower dose for 3 months, at first it was helping and I felt so much better very quickly, but I was noticing a dip in mood and symptoms coming back during the progesterone phase so my GP upped it to 2/10 and I was really happy taking it. I’ve never been able to tolerate contraceptive pills and didn’t think I’d be able to take HRT but it’s worked really well for me. Unfortunately I’m off it atm waiting for some investigative tests and am not happy that my GP told me to stop. I may need to change my regime now .
Don’t know if that’s of any help or not but like you I found it seems a well tolerated HRT on the forums.

Thank you that’s good to know, at the moment I’m waiting on a hearing test for tinnitus and then have possible arthritis investigated, I don’t really want to add to that but once I know where I stand with those, I’ll be armed and ready to tackle HRT!

I started on evorel sequi patches, cut them in half to start with and built up to a whole patch after 6 months. They improved my symptoms and I found them convenient.
