Title: How do you know
Post by: Baby on July 22, 2020, 05:03:14 PM
I started HRT last Summer and had gone 3 months 6 months and 9 months with my periods.  How do you know when you have reached actual menopause when you start HRT  before the full 12 months?

Sorry you were missed.

Has HRT helped your symptoms over-all?  Some ladies stop after 4-5 years to see where they might be however, if you feel OK with your regime, I would keep on with the HRT ;-)

The simple answer is that you don't though it is thought that most women will be post menopause by the age of 54 when it is deemed safe to use continuous HRT rather than sequential. Hope that helps.
