Can a HRT routine stop working after a relatively short time? Or maybe the dose that has been working for me for over a year is now too high?
I'm shattered by mid to late afternoon, no enthusiasm for anything and my headaches have come back. They last for days and I've got a virtually constant heavy fuzzy head, like a hangover.

Hi yes it can ..... perhaps you need an increase in oestrogen x

Hi Dotty. I'm already on 100 Estradot patch and 1 pump of Estrogel

Maybe it's too much, it may have built up and now you can drop half a pump. 🤷♀️ Try it, see what happens. I'm the opposite, I'm needing more, think I've got a battle coming up with the doc! 😏
Good luck. xx

It really can be Trial and Error >:(

Thank you all. Jillydoll, I ended up changing my GP surgery because they weren't very supportive. Didn't wanted me to use more than 2 pumps of gel when I was solely using that for HRT and insisting I had to come off HRT altogether after 5 years when I hit 52.
