Hello!
4 me it was like razor blades :o up there: a feeling of sharp tearing when I walked or sat. Add to that cystitis i.e. the constant need to pee : the place I was most comfy was on the loo ........ GP noted symptoms and recommended 'ovestin' - do read the threads about vaginal atrophy: make notes. Forewarned is forearmed ;-)
:welcomemm: as oestrogen levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out, including the vaginal area. Skin; nostrils; deep in the ears; scalp ....... I have itching on my insteps when I remove my socks, it's not constant as it was a few years ago. No problems during the day.
A good moisturiser may help. Keeping a mood/food/symptom diary is useful too.
