VA has been my main issue with this meno lark, i have been using 3 pumps of Estrogel and Vagifem and Ovestin daily for the last 4 years and have been pretty good, just the odd blip, but this year i had a bad flare in March and two minor ones since then.
They are nothing like it was before i started treatment but am now worrying if is this the beginning of it getting really bad again. When i have a flare i double up on the Vagifem, i have tried upping to 4 pumps of Estrogel but it seems to make me feel a bit odd and jittery.
Help please!

I also have a small patch where i grazed badly during delivery of youngest, that feels prickly and burny and tight during flare up and goes when it calms down, i have had that looked at before but am going to get it checked again incase it is something else.

I have a sore spot which makes me go 'ouch' even when I use VA treatment regularly.
Maybe put two doses of 'vagifem' into the vagina for 2 nights to see if that eases symptoms. Apply a little 'ovestin' into the sore area if you can reach in the morning to keep the area moist.
Also I find that taking 'nurofen' 3 times a day for 3 days helps that 'need to pee' feeling as it relaxes all those muscles.

Oh Tinkerbell...your VA has been such a nasty roller coaster. I just posted on another thread about lowering my Vagifem FROM daily TO alternate nights and eureka! Much improved! Could it be the fillers in Vagifem that is causing you grief? I was getting a white discharge, very irritating, from the fillers and seems this caused my 'flare ups'. Crossing fingers you will get it sorted.

Ive started using less Vagifem and more Ovestin and feeling better. Even been back to work the last couple of weeks and was expecting the worst with sitting all day but have been ok.
