My daughter has been given Estraderm patches, but as i understand it they are Estrogen only, and for women who have had a hysterectomy.
Before she collects them can anyone tell me please, she hasn't had a Hysterectomy,as once collected she can't return them if not suitable

If you have a uterus you have to take estrogen patches daily but also need a progesterone on days 15-26 of your cycle. You are correct your daughter should be given progesterone as well to stop the womb lining building up to dangerous levels.

Thanks for your reply, yes i told her this and Dr is sending another one for her to pick up
I am guessing it was one of the new young women Drs at our surgery, who also gave me Oestrogel instead of Ovestin,
Luckily i realised it wasn't right, and my own Dr was horrified when i told him,
