Title: On Oestrogen Therapy For 19.5 Years. Ceased Due to Breast Cancer - What Next?
Post by: Ann B on May 24, 2020, 08:35:48 PM
This is my first post, so hello to all.

I have been a firm believer in ERT and have taken it for 19.5 years, following surgical menopause.  I planned to be on it for life.  Unfortunately, I have just had surgery for breast cancer.  I don't accept it was due to the ERT.

I will soon have to commence Tamoxifen and I am quite apprehensive about this, due to the effect it will have on my body and QOL.  I have various options and not sure which one to take.

Has anyone faced the same dilemma as I have?  I would be interested to hear of your experiences.
