Discharge because the vagina is improving it's lubrication properties? All bodily fluids have an odour but if you have to get close to a pad to sniff then it's not a problem.
How much 'vagifem' are you using? Remember what goes up ;-)

I've never had a discharge from 'ovestin' other than what the body allows to seep ::)
When do you use it? If at night then most will be absorbed as it can't escape ;-). What R the other symptoms of VA?

I take 'nurofen' if my bladder is irritable,, which eases that symptom. Put 'yes' and 'sylc' into the search box on the forum to see what pops up, some find these useful around the vaginal entrance and do read the vaginal atrophy and bladder threads, also on the forum.

It could be bacterial vaginosis. I've had this a couple of times. The discharge is very watery. It can be a greyish colour. Give it a Google for symptoms etc. I hope you feel better soon.

Speaking from experience if it's bacterial vaginosis it would be very smelly. You would smell it when you pee and yes the greyish colour plus pain (I pretty sure about the pain but then again I had virginal atrophy too).

I had copious thin discharge after candidiasis brought on by ABs. This was after the curd like discharge had cleared after using the appropriate antifungals. Maybe your vaginal pH needs some adjustment. MultiGyn Actigel or boric acid pessaries might help.

You can get a kit from chemist to do a swab to see if its BV. X

How recently have you restarted the Vagifem? This does sound like the copious watery discharge I had, but the Vagifem sorted it out quite quickly (I can't remember exactly how quickly, but within weeks, I would say).
Just a note about the swab test for BV (Canestest): the manufacturers recommend that menopausal women don't use the test as their vaginal pH may be elevated anyway, so the result wouldn't be reliable.

I have never had thrush without symptoms! May I ask why you were swabbed at that time?
Any bodily fluid has an odour. Certain diseases, i.e. diabetes, is noticeable on the breath. I think that you don't need to worry too much, the vagina will settle. Each one is different and each 1 reacts differently to VA treatment.
When I used Canestan it stung so badly :o that I spent 40 mins in a cooling bath . Obviously, I didn't have thrush but VA ::). For years I have eaten LIVE yoghurt when thrush symptoms begin, as well as after surgery when I've needed to starve. Eaten and applied, cooling and sorts out the gut hygiene ;-)

I had a very slight odour when I had it but no pain and no itching. I was sore I remember. I had antibiotics but many cases resolve themselves with no treatment.

It normal to worry what's normal or not. I had a hysterectomy coming up to two years now. Still got ovaries but went into menopause within 4 months off the operation.
I noticed that some of my new underwear was getting stains on them like a grey, red colour it worry me.
Of course I googled, and it said cancer :o
The stains come about once a month two days and doesn't wash out off my underwear. So I took my clean underwear to my doctor and showed her. She told me it was normal to have stain watery colour come out it's instead of periods.
I understand in the UK it's hard to get a doctors appointment at the moment (I'm lucky and don't have this problem in Australia), but when you can see your doctor.
And why is it any possible health problem you can have and google seems to always mention cancer >:(

Re you saying that you restarted Vagifem at the start of May, I'd say that it could still be a bit soon for it to clear up the discharge, if it is caused by VA. I wish I could remember how long it took for me, but I'm pretty sure it took some weeks - definitely longer than the two-week loading dose but I can't remember how much longer. I just noticed one day that the discharge had gone.
I do hope things settle down for you - I know it's worrying and everything seems worse in the current situation. You could get a phone appointment with your GP if you're concerned and I gather that they're still doing face to face appointments if they think people need to be seen.

i had hysterectomy and was hrt free 4 yrs
started hrt due to wet knickers like you watery discharge but wasn't sure if urine
bladder test gynamics showed all fine wi ty bladder and to be honest i still get it now 18mths in hrt not all the time but it wasn't as bad when i first started hrt and was on 1 pump/2 pump gel overton twice a week but then after a while i was getting over moisturised so dropped the ovestin to once a week and was better but now i take progesterone too as couldn't cope with estrogel alone and my hair was shedding loads but i get watery discharge still not every day i?m on 2.5 pumps and utrogestan daily it was worse on 2 pumps but now upping the gel has caused more groin sweating and armpit sweating which makes knickers wet worse in the summer i wondered too if was BV and haven't used anything for that but it doesn't smell like urine or fishy it's sweet and also i have it come from vulva i have wet patches where my flaps sit in knickers so i?m trying testosterone but if doesn't work i?m coming off hrt and will perhaps just use ovestin cause my boobs are 3 times the size heavy hard and painful hair loss on hrt mood swings aniexty and off hrt no hair shedding no armpit groin sweating no mood fluctuations but yes sleep is worse flushes back but not bad as only got couple at night and vagina dryer but then when i took a break before i was only using overtin twice a week so would need to increase this . i also felt so fatigued on estrogel only i had zero energy i have more energy on progesterone but hoping testosterone my missing key if not i?m giving up its like my life on hold
