Title: Vagifem
Post by: clumpcat on May 12, 2020, 11:59:27 AM
Good morning, I have been taking vagifem for 2 weeks solid and although it's cleared up my discharge I have a pain/throb between my legs which is really uncomfortable, could this be the vagifem kicking in? Has anyone else experienced it? I had a few days of bike rides and put it down to that but gave myself a rest and it hasn't gone away. it's abit like spd pain I got when I was pregnant. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yes.  Vagifem takes a very long time to work.  From my own experience, I got much worse on vagifem before getting much better.  I take daily and has taken almost 7 to 8 months to get 80% relief.  As your tissues start to plump up, your nerve endings are starting to awaken from a sleep.  Hang in there.  You will get to a good place .

Maybe take a pain relief too - 3 times a day for 3 days.

There are a lot of nerve down there!

Menopause is natural but it can't half trhow up some weird and awful symptoms, but you are not alone!

You could also use 'yes' or 'sylc' ....... put them into the search box. Make notes ;-). Some companies send samples.

The products 'yes' and 'sylc' can help moisterise the vaginal area as well as Vagifem.  If you put the names into the search box on the Forum, 1 at a time, you will see any threads to see how others get on with both/either.

I use Boots own brand vaginal moisturiser alternate nights.  It's a gel to use internally, and ovestin the other nights.  It's a long process to feel ok down there again.
