Hello everyone, and I hope you're all keeping safe.
As the title says, really...I'm turning into the rabid eater from hell! It's ridiculous, the number of times I'm up and down on the sofa I should be burning off the calories, as soon as I finish eating one thing, I'm getting up for another!
I'm not sure if it's the meno as it has coincided with my symptoms really kicking in, but that has also coincided with the lockdown, so it's hard to tell if I'm just bored or whether it's hormones. Is olympic standard scoffing even a menopausal thing?

May I giggle.
I feel sluggish due to sitting a lot more ::). Either watching TV or on the patio, feeding wild birds.
What is your weakness, mine is Coke and chocolate fingers this week. Last week it was lots of roasted veg.. DH batch cooks mince/veg mixtures as well as curry so that we don't grab rubbish ...... he is eating a lot of pears/apples but I can't be bothered ::)
-
Can you maybe get some healthy snacks, carrot sticks with hummus or mixed nuts, fruit salads etc? My weakness is crisps, I NEVER buy big bags anymore as I literally can not stop at just a few,so now just buy standard size packs
-
Please do giggle! We all need a little (or a lot of) humour in these strange times ;D
My weaknesses change - I'm a sucker for crisps, but have been making fudge lately and well...if it's there it has to be eaten, right? I do have healthy foods in, that's the ridiculous thing about it, and I love fruit and raw veg and hummus and all the other things, but those little suckers don't shout loud enough from the fridge!
I blame Sex and the City - showing reruns of an evening is lethal because it's my 'me' time...well, me and my snacks, anyway!
-
Oowww, love sex and the city :) I limit my rubbish food to the weekends,so then, I REALLY enjoy it,it's the only time I eat biscuits or cake etc but yes, I so agree,if it's there? it's gonna be scoffed ;D can you exercise? I love running,so then,if I do have a sneaky treat,it's not quite so bad.
Why oh why are all the great tasting foods sooooo bad for you, life just isn't fair ;D

OMG ... Waistline has increased that even stretchies are too snug! Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate with a massive HOT FUDGE SUNDAE are the new norm not that I'm compaining😈
-
Where do you get a hot fudge sundae, omg, droooooooooollll🤤🤤🤤
-
Sounds like it is home made :-*
-
Right now? In my dreams...sending everyone a huge and delicious virtual HOT FUDGE SUNDAE🍔🍟 oops...these 2...
-
Noooooooo stoppppppppp ;D
-
I'm all about the carbs ::)
Lockdown - hello pasta and potatoes! Roast, mashed jackets I don't care.
Feeling meno-lightheaded means I might need another biscuit to keep my energy levels up.....I've also discovered Cadbury's Roundies. They are a bit like kit-kats but, well - round haha. I prefer Cadbury chocolate. About the size of a Viscount and disappear a bit quickly ;D
I like chocolate, I like desserts, but I don't like chocolate desserts (is that weird?)
I should add that I am actually happy about putting on some poundage :D
-
I like most things that go into a trifle but oh, trifle >:( :sick02: .......... :D
Maybe try batch cooking proper food ........... often I find that if I don't eat a pudding immediately after my main meal, I don't want it as my body feels full enough.
-
Baking, then eating what I bake. Pancakes, sponge cakes, apple loaf, chocolate and banana loaf, jam tarts, apple pie, roast dinners.
Oh, and crisps. 1 packet is not enough.
And I'm not even in lockdown, still at work out of the house 7:30 am to 5:30 pm every day.
Food is lovely though. Really lovely.
::)

I'm heavily into custard over a banana with a little sugar :-*
-
Dang I just put on another kilo from reading these posts! Y U M M Y🍻
-
Donuts, crisps, chocolate, there's another few kilos for you ;D
-
So glad it's not just me!
There's no excuse for it - I cook from scratch, buy organic fruit and veg (4 farm shops within walking distance) and even my milk is bought from the farm (LOADS of cream rising to the top...hello coffee!). But once everyone is in bed, I change into the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, literally shoveling food into my mouth with both hands! ;D
Thank goodness for my dog, because without walking him every day I would be the size of a house!
-
You paint a lovely picture of yourself leesh ;D ;D I'm like that with crisps, can't get enough into me moosh at one time
-
I'd get into a bath so that you can flush any crumbs away ;D
What are you craving?
