Hi ladies I was wondering if anyone could advise me. Iam on day 24 of bleeding , still quite heavy. Iam 52 and not on hrt.
Is this just part of the natural course the journey takes till menopause. I have had issues with low ferritin in the past, just worried that this could be causing it to lower again.
Thanks . Xx

Morning. Your GP can prescribe something to ease long periods. MayB give the surgery a ring to see what is available? :bighug:

My long periods were due to fibroids, have you had any tests done at all?

Hi ladies thanks for your replies, phoned gp and she gave me iron. Haven't had any tests done as this is the first month of long bleed, normally have had heavy period but this has been the longest I have bleed. X
