Hi ladies, I have ordered a home estrogen test as not feeling any benefits from being on patches and utero except less migraines. My sleep is still non existant and I'm struggling with severe fatigue, joint pain and lots of other symptoms . I am curious to see where my estrogen is at, maybe not even absorbing it. But what day of cycle is best to take it ?, I still have regular periods on HRT ?.

Are you having periods or just the bleeds brought on by HRT? Sorry I get confused easily ;D

Lol ;D hi Taz, I was still having regular periods 4 months ago before starting the HRT. x

So do you have one lot of bleeding? Not sure how it works when you still have regular periods. I've never had my oestrogen checked during 13 years of HRT. I'm not much help am I? ;D

Lol, yes I have a regular bleed on the HRT, obviously my hormones are still in the background so don't know the best time to take a test. x

Doesn't it give instructions with the test or is it only aimed at non-hrt users?

I presume aimed at non hrt users, I have googledvit and apparently day 1-3 of your cycle is best as shows your level without the spike at ovulation etc. x

There seems to be two different types available. One for HRT users and one for women not on any oestrogen therapy? Hope it works ok. Let us know :)
