Hi Everyone
I hope you are coping well in this difficult time. My Gp was going to refer me to a menopause clinic but the current situation has put everything on hold.
I use Estraderm patches 75 and I take Utrogestan day 15 -26.
I have just changed the utrogestan to vaginally as I was having really bad side effects. This has improved this but there are still symptoms. I still have regular periods I'm 55.
However, my mood seems lower than it should be. My sex drive has completely gone. This makes me really sad as I just recently got married.
My question is so I need a,bit more Oestrogen and would the gel work better?
Many Tha
nks to you fabulous ladies.😘😘

As an oestrogen only user I've no experience of juggling the balance with oestrogen/progesterone HRT, but didn't want to pass by without commenting.
Sorry you?re feeling low.
Hopefully someone with experience might be able to help

Hi
You could try adding Estrogel to the patch to gradually increase your oestrogen to a level where you feel better. Testosterone may improve your libido but it can take up to 6 months to see improvement, it's also great for brain fog. I use private prescription Androfemme but testogel is available via Nhs. You need to get va under control too for obvious reasons. I use Vagifem and Ovestin and YES, which work very well.

Hi salad and Bobidy,
Thank you so much for your replies. I think it's such a difficult balance . I just don't like how I feel at the moment.
Can I ask for gel aswell as patches or do I just order online. What is vagifem and Ovestin. I don't have problems with dryness.
I just feel low and have no libido and that makes me more sad.
Do you need to go to a clinic for testerone?
